I think reading books for research enhances your thoughts about a situation because you get different perspectives. It is kind of like food for thought. I think it is great that you are reading from several sources and not just sticking to one particular source. When I do research, I tend to look at several different sources as well in order to get a good understanding and to know what others are saying or thinking about the issue. I think it is great that you are reading the book “How to be an Adult” for pleasure. It is always good to read books for pleasure because you are relaxed and there are no time restraints so you can work on it at your pace.

There are times when I’ve read a book, and when I’ve gone back to the same book I notice or see things that I didn’t catch the first time around.
